Ahmed Hassan Abayazeed is an Egyptian-registered architect/urban designer as he is a member of the EGYPTIAN ENGINEERS SYNDICATE (EES), a member of the SOCIETY OF EGYPTIAN ARCHITECTS (SEA). He was born in Cairo in 1980. He spent all He was a student in Victory College language school in Alexandria till the secondary stage. Abayazeed holds a bachelor of architecture as he graduated at the faculty of fine arts - Alexandria University-Architecture Department. On 2013, Abayazeed won a scholarship to study at a joint academic program hosted at the University of Stuttgart, Germany and Ain Shams University, Cairo where he earned his MSc double degree in 'Integrated Urbanism and Sustainable Design' (IUSD). His master thesis concerns with residential urban spaces in Cairo's informal settlements. For more details, click here.
After graduation, he worked in Seoudy Consultant Firm for architecture & planning in Alexandria where he gained great experiences in architectural, urban design and working drawings. Abayazeed is working now as an urban designer at The Projects Planning Department in THE NATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR URBAN HARMONY “ NOUH” where he participated in various projects covering a wide range of scope and complexity with special emphasis on urban design projects.
Abayazeed’s work and academic interests concern with public urban spaces, informal settlements, and urban-related issues. He attended various, workshops and summer schools and participated in international, local competitions & exhibitions and won several awards & certificates of merit.
